Tuesday Ladies League Meeting

Ladies league will be starting in June. Ladies league is a 2 gal best shot format. There will be a league meeting on Tuesday May 13th @ 5:30 PM at the clubhouse. This is an informational meeting about the league as well as an opportunity to sign up or find a partner.

If you are unable to attend the meeting and wish to sign up please email the board and we will get it passed along to the appropriate parties.

Outstanding Membership Dues

In an effort to confirm the courses operating budget for 2025 we are asking for outstanding memberships to be paid prior to 5/1/2025. This will help ensure the board has a better overview of confirmed income for the year to better plan for expenses at our May meeting. If you received an invoice and do not plan to join this year please reach out to the board at theboardofjesupgolf@gmail.com so we can void your invoice and remove you from our accounts receivable reports and also prevent us from sending you unneeded past due reminders for your membership.

We appreciate your continued support of Jesup Golf - The Board Of Jesup Golf

Easter Weekend Update

Tomorrow morning the Jesup Chamber of Commerce is hosting the kids Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 AM at the course. Some holes may be closed during this time while the kiddos are running around. More details on the event can be found here (Jesup Chamber of Commerce's Easter Egg Hunt)

Sunday the clubhouse will be closed, the weather doesn’t look great, with 20-30 mph winds, a high of 50 and rain in the forecast. Course will be open to members wanting to brave the elements but rental carts will not be available.

JGCC Update

Course cleanup has been cancelled for 3/15. Scott and the board would like to give a big thank you to the Jesup Golf Team for stopping out last night and cleaning up the sticks and leaves. Scott said after the work they did last night there isn’t any reason to have cleanup, so thank you Jesup Golf Team.

Rental carts are scheduled for delivery next week, the weather does not look great for golf early next week, Steve and the Nine and Dine are going to be using the weather as a guide for their schedule the next couple weeks, but are planning on a opening for the season on Thursday next week with an optimistic forecast.

Course Updates 3/10/2025

Scott has been at the course all morning monitoring the conditions as the temperatures rise, unfortunately the greens are still to wet for play with the snow and frost melt. The course closed sign will remain up until Scott has deemed the greens are in good enough shape for play. The Nine and Dine staff is also preparing for opening for regular business as well in the coming weeks, so be on the lookout for that post. Once the Nine and Dine is open and the course is ready, the course will be available for public play.

We have rescheduled course cleanup for this Saturday 3/15/2025, with a 10:00 AM start time. This will be cleaning up sticks and and leaves as well as trimming up some overgrowth behind some greens and some smaller dead trees. We hope to see all those eager golfers out there as this work will help ensure the course is ready for play.

Lastly the Spring Fling is scheduled for Saturday 3/22/2025 starting at 4:00 PM. Come out pay your dues or just mingle with the members.
