Reminder that the club championship is this Saturday and Sunday. Tee sheets for Saturday are in the clubhouse. If you have not gotten signed up for a tee time get into the clubhouse soon to ensure your spot.
The course will be closed to only participants in the Club Championship this weekend.
Due to the amount of water on the course we will be closed the remainder of the day.
Due to low numbers we will be cancelling the two gal best shot scheduled for this Friday.
There is only one group left to play hole 1 then course is now open for member play.
Course is closed until 4:00 PM for the senior 2 person best shot
Ladies league kicks off tonight for 2025. The course is still open to all for play but the ladies league has priority to get their match in.
Starting tomorrow Thursday 5/29, we will be enforcing our Thursday 18+ after 12:00 PM. This includes members who are under 18. If under 18 you must be accompanied by someone who is 18+ playing with you.
The decision was made to push back the time to 2:00 PM for members only on Fridays. This is to better accommodate lunch golfers from out of town. Members can bring non members on for golf just like the 18+ on Thursdays.
4 Person Best Shot on 5/31/2025, 10 AM start get signed up if you haven’t
This Saturday is our first tournament of 2025. This is a one person event playing your own ball. Top 10 finishers through 18 will go back out for another 9 holes with scores reset.
Ladies league will be starting in June. Ladies league is a 2 gal best shot format. There will be a league meeting on Tuesday May 13th @ 5:30 PM at the clubhouse. This is an informational meeting about the league as well as an opportunity to sign up or find a partner.
If you are unable to attend the meeting and wish to sign up please email the board and we will get it passed along to the appropriate parties.
Despite the constant rain the last few days the course is open with carts, and in great shape. Scott was pleasantly surprised to get to rake the bunkers today after the rain even.
In an effort to confirm the courses operating budget for 2025 we are asking for outstanding memberships to be paid prior to 5/1/2025. This will help ensure the board has a better overview of confirmed income for the year to better plan for expenses at our May meeting. If you received an invoice and do not plan to join this year please reach out to the board at theboardofjesupgolf@gmail.com so we can void your invoice and remove you from our accounts receivable reports and also prevent us from sending you unneeded past due reminders for your membership.
We appreciate your continued support of Jesup Golf - The Board Of Jesup Golf
A JV Meet has been scheduled for 4/29/2025 and has been added to our event list. The course will be closed at 3:00 that day.
Monday night men’s league will be starting on 5/5/2025.
Tomorrow morning the Jesup Chamber of Commerce is hosting the kids Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 AM at the course. Some holes may be closed during this time while the kiddos are running around. More details on the event can be found here (Jesup Chamber of Commerce's Easter Egg Hunt)
Sunday the clubhouse will be closed, the weather doesn’t look great, with 20-30 mph winds, a high of 50 and rain in the forecast. Course will be open to members wanting to brave the elements but rental carts will not be available.
Men’s league is filling up fast, if you want to sign up please email the board to get on the list before all the spots are gone.
League meeting will be on Wednesday April 23rd @ 6:00 PM
Men’s league start date scheduled for May 5th.
